Mauro Rodriguez (1962) is associate professor of Social Psychology at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) since 2001. He got his PhD in 1992 from USC, where he current teaches on Social and Political Psychology. As a part of the Spanish Team, he is interested in why people engage in different types of political action and mobilizations, emphasizing the role of variables such as motivation, identification, emotions, or political and mobilization context. He published on this topics in both national and international journals and books.
